Hi guys & gals,

Well, it's time to reconoiter. So far, we've seen quite a few used keyboards for sale. Let's see, there've been some X1 owners sell, some Korg M3 owners sell, VA-7 owners sell, and I think there's even been a PA-80 being sold used but still no 9000PRO's (as far as I know).

George Kaye has me about convinced that Yamaha isn't ripping me off for the new OS, styles, and database upgrade (almost). So, my 9000PRO will like be for sale when Yamaha releases their next GREAT keyboard (not before).

Sorry, but I had to gloat a little . . . I don't do it often.

HA!
Steve

I have seen a Roland VA-76 for sale by owner. I have not seen a Solton X8 on the second hand market, but then, I never heard of anyone owning one either.

A big advantage of Yamaha is that people generally know what they are buying. The manuals are on-line, models are similar in many respects, and quality control is excellent. SD-1 buyers are, for the most part, purchasing on a prayer.

Come on, folks, let's not behave like football or basketball (or SOCCER )supporters; if it's just for fun, it's nice to poke in the rib to each other, from time to time, but we all said many times that each instrument has its strenghts and weaknesses. Like I said, I didn't buy the SD1, but still agree that has beautiful acoustic guitars, organ, drums and basses, like Yamaha has excellent organs and woodwinds, like Korg... etc etc
If I had enough space in my house I would like to buy them ALL, but since I don't live in a warehouse, I have to make choices...and face compromises.
Let's keep a cold and "classy" behavior...
(for we are all jolly good fellows, for we are all jolly good fellowe, for we are all jolly good fellows...)

Dreamer,
you're a very lucy man if it is only the
space you have in your house who deside what
to buy.
I have plenty of room, but my bankaccount won't
let me buy all the keyboards that I want to
have
What about if you buy them, and i take care of
where to place them ???
