With psr3000, is there a way to drone a note? On guitar, I play Steve Earle's Copperhead Road and it's like D is droned in a bagpipe sound. On psr3000, could I just start that note and it keeps going? Or start/stop at the push of a button? Or better yet, footswitch.

While we're at it, does psr3000 have a decent bagpipe sound?

Othen than holding down on a key, I don't know of any function that would drone a note. As for the bagpipe, yes it's in the flute and woodwind section, and in the hands of an accomplished Scottsman it sounds terrific. For an example of this download Will Stewart's Album #6 from www.psrtutorial.com and listen to the effects he uses at the end of Mist Covered Moutains.

You can set the bagpipe sound to the left hand, and turn the sustain pedal function to "ON" for the LH only. Set the RH sound to bagpipes too, and after you hit the LH "D" note, step on the sustain pedal and the D will sound forever. If the panel voice doesn't sustain, you'll have to use an XG tone. Yamaha's newest sounds don;t all respond to sustain in the same way.
Save to a registration and you're set!

Choose Bagbipe (from the Ethnic group in the XG/GM voices) as the left voice and turn the Left Hold on.
