Hi Terry,

Thanks for the time you took to have a look and maybe listen to a couple. I didn't realise I could be so cheeky but when you get to my age , you have to do it before it's too late.!
cheers
Eddie

I already heard them privately, but must comment again that I love that funky vocal number!

Hi Don,
Glad you liked it but I am still waiting for your own recoding of 'Number One' you promised me. It's a song that suits your style to a 't'.
BTW, day before yesterday I bought a CD/RW (which included Nero software)and burned my first CD. It included a number of my favourites of yours ( I particularly like your "I'll always love you")

cheers
Eddie Johnson

Hi Eddie: Thanks for sharing your tunes. Enjoyed the light humor on 'Numero Uno' (kind of reminiscent of C.W. McCall), though I'd suggest you bring forward the vocals a tiny bit to make it easier to make out the words more clearly. Promises is an enjoyable swinging romp but I would personally prefer simplifying the melody line. Funkin Jazz is another nice number. My only suggestion is not to fill your 'entire' song's canvas with notes, but instead, leave some spots where no notes are played, allowing the song to breathe more, especially at the end of melodic phrases. I think you have good songwriting potential. Looking forward to hearing more from you. - Scott

Hi Scott,

I am surprised but honoured that you took the time to listen to all of my tunes and I thank you for that.
I never thought I would be even close to receiving advice about improving my efforts.
There must be a chance that I really can reach dizzier heights

Seriously though,my efforts are really just for fun and to do something else with my time!
However,I feel that getting advice from Scott is really worth listening to and even acting upon, so be warned that you have perhaps let yourself in for more of the same.
cheers
Eddie
