Hi folks,
Since getting the Psr2000 for Christmas I've neglected the Arranger aspect of the board. This is my 2'd song I've wrote with lyrics. Sorry about the quality. I'm still battling the home recording studio aspect. The song is Pray... It's a ruff draft.. Any advice would be helpful http://www.gamegadget.com/mp3.html

Thanks

BBun,
Had a listen. I like the style and lyrics to this tune quite a bit. Reminded me of the "Jesus Christ Superstar" album & movie era.

Here are my thoughts on the whole package:

The strings are a bit strong in the mix. Overall the backing tracks sound a bit empty, a bit too much air space. I think if you utilize the arranger function of your 2k with it's instruments for backing it will fill the tune out nicely and you'll have a winner here.

It sounded to me like your left hand was either playing single notes or octaves underneath. You might try putting some full chords in and I think you will be thrilled with the results and how the arranger aspect will fill it in with a richer fuller sound.

I very much liked your vocals and style of the vocals here though, add just a bit of reverb and a dash of chorus to 'em to fatten the vocals up.

Thanks for the listen Terry,
It's taken a bit to get to this stage of recording. Where I can actually get something presentable. I had too much reverb in the past, so I eliminated as much as possible. I suppose I could bump it up a bit. I'll keep tweaking... Thank god this is just a hobby!
Thanks again

Bb,
Somewhere in between "Angel" and where you are now, but more to the the now side, would be my suggestion.
