I've got the big band era covered with standards and thanks to Don Mason I now have enough country songs in my playlist to get by. What about other age groups?

What 10 doable songs do you folks do for people in the 20 to 30 age group.

The 30 to 40 age group?

The 40 to 50 age group?

I sort of shut down once the 70's came around. Now I need to do a lot of catching up.

There are some songs that seem to work for ANY age group.
Margaritaville
Brown-eyed Girl
Mustang Sally
Drift Away
Blueberry Hill!
Have I Told You Lately (V. Morrison)
Stand By Me
My Girl
Wonderful Tonight
Desperado
Take It To The Limit
When A Man Loves A Woman
Unchained Melody
Midnight Hour

These come to mind, but there are surely more of these that seem to transcend the generations.

I agree with Don. Heck even I do several that he mentions here. I just learned these 2 and I can't see how you'd fail with them in any audience.

You Don't have To Be A Star Baby to Be In My Show.

I just Want to Be Your Everything.

Heck I wish you would have seen the two 20 something college girls tapping their feet smiling and wiggling in their seats the last time I did the coffee shop in the late afternoon, and they looked sobber too, when I played "Filthy McNasty." I think they're gonna like "Doxy" too just as much the next time I do the coffee shop.
