Logitech Z-5450 has transmitted wireless rear speakers. It's possibly the future will be having the full speaker system wireless, although it would bump up the price a little.
The downside is having to keep a backup of spare batteries unless you get in the habit of recharging after gig or home use every few week.

Any comments about wireless speakers and what available at the present time on the market.

Keyboard Mag (page 92 of June/2005 issue) showed a product from Phonic America.

The Phonic speaker cabinets in the "Performer" series are wireless enabled.
The series has 7 or so different models.

Don't know anything about the quality or price, but they look similar to Mackie style.
