I know this was brought up quite a while ago, but what exactly do I need in order to modify my keyboard stand to hold a laptop ?
Where can i get the parts from and what modifications are involved ?

Thanks!
Claude

You'll have to get parts like these to create the LT holder for you...

With all those tiers on the 3000 this might be a problem...? We all use them with no tiers...remember these are all custom configurations....not something you buy all together...its hit or miss for each application...post some pics of your setup and mayb we can figure something out ok?

Sure I can try to take a pix of my setup and post that seomtimes tonight.
Right now, I'm only using one keyboard so I can certainly take some things out

Great ....you will also need a quik-lok
QLX-4 mic boom..to use as your base connected to the X-stand.

If this is the rig stand you're using, it's easy to set up for a laptop.

A small shelf made of 1/2-inch plywood and sprayed flat black can be sat on the second tier. Because the tiers are adjustable to nearly any position, you can place it directly over the center of the keyboard and somewhat to the rear, making it easy to see, but not blocking your eye contact with the audience.
