Hello friends.

My collection of grandfather kbds(PSR510,PSR B20, PSR6100, Korg I4S, Roland E86 ) is growing. Yerterday I bought a PSR5700 that seems a brand new kbd. I loved the key touch (seems a DX7 synth). Now, I am looking for some styles for my old 5700.
Can anybody help me ?
Regards from Brazil

Hi Chico

Here's a link to the Yamaha PSR style forum.

It appears they give a link to some 5700 styles and manual. But it looks like the modern styles won't work on it.

I know there were other posts on that forum about the 5700 but I could't find them right now.

Chico,

While I did own a pair of 5700s at one time, I sold them both. It's a great keyboard, but the only person that had any styles at all for this machine was Neil Blake. He sold them for a pretty hefty price and I purchased the entire set. Unfortunately, I gave them to the person that purchased the keyboard from me.

Good Luck,

Gary

Hello Scott and Gary.
Tks for the fast reply.
I think that is very hard to find something about 5700, but I am fascinated with some features and I want to make some styles for this old machine.
Just a tip: Today I made a record with 5700 connected with 2000(mid). A bossa theme, simple, very simple but at the midle I used the interactive acc,(5700) with a nice result.
In the future, I want to make a comparison:
To record some songs with Tyros/2000/2100.
Then, to record the same songs with Psr5700.I want to know if the first songs are 15X better than the songs from 5700.
Regards from Brazil

One highlight of the 5700 was it had absolutely the best piano and vibes sounds of any keyboard made--including those currently on the market. Additionally, with the built-in 50 watt amp and larger speakers, the sounds from the keyboard itself were sufficient to play some small venues such as home cocktail parties.

I'm looking forward to hearing some of your recordings with the 5700.

Gary.

I must agree 100% with you.
5700 has the best vibes I have heard.
The powerfull speakers are nice and yesterday I connected my 2000 to 5700(mid e sound). Then I had great keys to play(as Yamie synths)and an excellent sound.
I am going to record something with my "new" baby.
Regards
Chico
