Just wondering if any of the new Tyros 2 owners had a chance to see if it is possible to load a wave drum loop for example and have the tempo synchronized with the tempo changes of the styles?

from what I understand after just talking to Yamaha, you cannot sync a wave file to a style for playback. This would have to be accomplished in a computer I would guess.

George is correct. Tyros2 does not support syncing audio loops to styles. - Scott

All is not lost though, as you could create a custom voice using a wave file, and then trigger the voice using a custom style at the start of each bar...

Provided you set the tempo of the style to that of the wave pattern, it would in effect work. You could also trigger the wave by playing the voice and recording it as a sequence. Not sure how accurate it would remain in sequence but in theory it should do!
