The first time I saw a terribly nad act we were supposed to laugh at I turned it off. No search for an "Idol" there.

I have found none of the winners to be "Idols" None original. Talyor Hicks??? We already have Michael Mc Donald. A soulful blues singer. Carrie Underwoods are all over the country and pop charts. Studard never went anywhere while his second runner up (the long time closet queen. Where was HIS reality during the show) gained teen idol success.

You may not win the debate but you can sure argue a case. $4 coffe became a success too.

Bottled Water....A bigger waste of money I have never seen. ..(after Extended Warranties and lottery tickets)

Going to watch american idol with the family tonight...

I think this season that many vocalist are very, very good.

Last year it seemed that the talent was ok..nothing spectacular..

But this year I see a tough competition and a lot of talent.

One of the "OSMONDS" is a potential winner this year also...looks like a great
season 8!!

Osmond is out ...wow.. that surprises me..

I would think he could make it on his own..

We'll hear more from him soon...

The trio at the end really surprised me..The blond hair girl has an incredable voice..

The rocker guy with the Black hair is going to be hard to beat
