Hi folks, really great to hear all the great music being posted by everyone. Maybe some day I'll get up the nerve to post some of my own, but no comparison to you guys. I am just a hobiest and not a pro by any means.

I'm in search of a solution that will give me multiple switches to use on a Roland EXR7S arranger. I'm really green when it comes to midi implimentation and don't know much about what's out there that might do what I want. The EXR-7S only has one foot switch and a d-beam controller that can be assigned to do different things. I'd like to find something that will give me more than that. I saw some one mention an FC7 and I got the impression that it might be what I need, but not sure how it works with the keyboard, and how you would go about assigning various events to its 7 switches. Is it a friendly process, or do you have to know a bunch of cryptic midi codes? Is there another solution that would be better? Anything that will turn my Rolands 1 foot switch jack into several switches?

I noticed someone had a Ketron 13 button switch for sale. Will something like that work on a Roland arranger, or is it Ketron specific? As always, thanks for any responses.

I'd also appreciate any tips on finding additional styles that will work for the EXR-7S. I still have my Yamaha PSR3K, but am looking forward to playing with this Roland.
