I've notice a buzz or hum coming from the back of my tyros 2 and wondered whether anyone else had encountered this - it's not from the satellite speakers, but more from the grilles at the back and is ambient but definitely audible - it is not effected by the main volume dial, but is 'always on' when the T2 is powered up.

Do u have your T2 connected to any other speakers at all or just the yamaha satellites + Sub?

Whatever speakers you have plugged into it, unplug them all and just leave the T2 on with the power cable and nothing else. see if it goes away.

If the sound doesnt go, then ide be going back to my yamaha dealer or calling yamaha directly...

Does the T2 have any moving parts inside?? if so, it could also be a build up of dirt or dust...possibly also a bug/insect stuck inside...
