Hi.I have written and recorded a song, that is going to be used as the opener for a tv show. As yet I have not registered it,and I am curious as to how to go about it,so nobody can steal it.I would appreciate any help from those of you who have written their own music. Thanks Terry

HI TERRY,
For your first proof. Record the song to tape/cd, copy the written music, take both in an envelope to the post office and mail it to yourself certified mail.
Now you have a proof it is yours and the date to back it up. Now copyright it, including these proofs.
