I am very interesting to get this Triton to pair up w/ my current X1. Anyone know the best price of Triton Pro 76 key online? One of the local store around LA tag at $2799.00 . Damn, it's costly for this awesome synth ! If I can get the SD1 to team up w/ this Triton pro 76, it's a heaven musci station that I thought ))

You DO know that a Triton LIGHT version is comming out this month at the Namm show, right? It'll be cheaper because they cut out the sampling and a few other options. I'll call the store today and get you a price on the 76 key Triton pro.

The Triton LE's may be just arriving in U.S, but here in UK, they are allready selling them - SECOND HAND!! That doesn't mean its not good thoough, nice synth - and cheap.(£999 Retail) Quite like it myself, but I would (say) compare the Triton LE to the Triton "Full", in the same way I would compare the Yamaha 9000 to the 2000. scaled down, but stiil nice

Just as a thought, i think the Tritons are VERY expensive for what they are. its not as if they are new/tomorrow technology, and the Triton is about 3 years old. Its still one of the most expensive workstations around - when you consider a Motif - with twice (and more) the amount of ROM (85), an intergrated Sampler (better IMO), Better Sampled sounds.....for £300 LESS!
