Just wondering if anyone has a copy of upgrade Ver 1.01 for the EXR 7s. I'm having trouble getting it from Roland...them being busy with NAMM and all.

Does anybody know what changes they made? Also if there is an English version?

Quite often my EXR-7s locks up while loading styles into flash memory or while the keyboard reads from it.

To find around out, which software version is contained in your EXR-7s, you hold jointly pressed the two sensors
[FUNCTION] and DATES ENTRY [1] and turn you at the same time the EXR-7s on. In the course writing is indicated
behind "Ver." the version. If you this not immediately seen repeated itself, the notice running. Turn off after
that the EXR-7s again.

EXR-7s system Update =========================================================================

For the Update, you need a (windows) PC with diskettes-drive and two DOS-formatted-HD-diskettes.

1. Format two new HD-diskettes (DOS-format with the EXR-7s or a PC). 2. Copy the first Update-file on the first, new, MS-DOS-formatted empty diskette in that you doubly click on the file EXR5s_Ver***_Disk1.exe. (You click on "Reference...", and place your diskettes-drive A in "Drive" and/or B on. You click written
becomes then respectively on "OK" until the diskette.) 3. Copy the second Update-file on the second, new, MS-DOS- formatted empty diskette in that you doubly click on the file EXR5s_Ver***_Disk2.exe (see previous point). It emerges the system disks 2. 4. If the EXR-5s is turned on, you turn off the instrument.
5. Remove evtl. inserted diskettes.

6. You hold pressed the sensors [FUNCTION] and DATES ENTRY [0] and turn you at the same time the EXR-7s on. Release the sensors at the earliest if in the display shortly "LoadSys" is indicated. 7. In the display, 'InsDsk#1 appears'. Insert system disk 1. The instrument begins to
load automatically. ("R315_***" is indicated originally in the reading).

8. In the display, 'InsDsk#2 appears'. Remove system disk 1 and put you system disks 2 on. The instrument begins to load
again automatically (and shows again "R315_***" at). After short time 'Chek.. will appear in the display first.' and last of
all after the testing of the data 'COMPLETE'.

9. Remove system disks 2 and turn you the instrument from.

10th stops you the sensor [USER per grief] pressed and turn you at the same time the EXR-7s on. They can
release the sensor after a couple of seconds again if the normal EXR-7s notice appears.

The EXR-7s is now upgedatet.
