thanks guys! now you got me frustrated...

i hope my problems with E60 are not because of defective hardware... most difficult to solve such an issue - no roland shops around, but rather some "inocent" glitches of some kind...
now it just came to me, i remember i also had some problems with my previous korg pa50 keyboard... but i don't remember too well... nevermind.
thanks.

If it's made in Japan, chances that it'll crash are pretty close to 0. However because it says "ROLAND" or "Korg" on the product/box doesn't mean it's made in Japan!

Korg arrangers are developed and manufactured in Italy. The only exception to this is the Pa50 which is manufactured in China to reduce cost. Older Korg arrangers like the i3 or i30 were made in Japan.

And the Pa800 runs rock solid without any crashes. This is good since it takes 1-2 minutes to start the keyboard up.

Kind regards,
Tommy

1-2 minutes to boot? Holy *#@!

Better buy a UPS if you gig that thing!

My Ensoniqs were assembled made in Italy and use Fatar keyboard mechanisms, possibly (especially with the SD1) designed by Ensoniq. I am not sure whether the circuit boards or electronics are Italian or shipped in from the USA. The sliders are definately Alps!
