Everyone has heard of stereo sound .
Everyone knows that a single keyboard amp is Mono , unless it is a stereo keyboard amp?
If I play styles using my SD1 , some of the strumming guitar sounds within a pattern are panned right and left . Therefore a style will sound different with a keyboard amp .
I think I will just pan all parts to one side ............ would that be effective ?

Has any other SD1 owner or X1 owner tried panning a style such as 8 beat 4 or 16 beat 1 (example) . Great acoustic guitar stums with in these patterns .

How about other arranger owners . Are your styles panned left and right? Do styles sound different mono vs. stereo ?

They DO sound different. I almost always run stereo. But, every keyboard has an output jack that is designed for mono use, so there is no need to change your panning.

Makes a big difference for me on styles Dan. I notice a big difference when I listen to stuff I have recorded when it's played in mono mode versus stereo. The drums alone make a difference to me and I also can here the subtle differences when I pan my layered sounds slightly. For recording it makes all the fdifference in the world. I'm not sure what implications it would have in our live setup, but we are coming through a PA system rather than using keyboard amps.
