Does anyone know how to stop the Korg MS2000R from playing all notes as a legato? The machine plays the first note and never turns off the note. So for example a one bar pattern may have 20 notes in 4/4, the MS2000R will not shut off anyone of those notes after the 1 bar of music is done. It becomes a big blur of sound. Korg has no email correpondence that I know of either. Does anyone know how to forward this to Korh engineers? If so can you forward this ASAP for me. My Roland gear plays the exact 1 bar pattern of music with no problem. This is my first Korg unit and I'm a bit disenchanted by it's performance. However the machine rocks with sounds. Thanks people!!

Return it buddy. That sounds like a faulty machine. I've got mine working fine and I've never had a problem like that at all.

What sequencer are you using?
I am using Logic Platinum 4.6.1 MAC.
Somehow the machine plays fine if the track
is not selected. Once selected the the notes
legato all crazy.

This might be obvious but did you make sure the Latch button Is not engaged? It's right near the arp. tempo button.

I've used both Cubase and Cakewalk to sequence with. No probs like what you're experiencing. And the issue with the Latch button shouldn't be a problem unless your Arppegiator is on at the same time with an enormous gate time.

Just to check, see what settings your Echo has inside of Logic. That may be whats causing the legato.
