Hi

Here is a little review of the Roland G-70:

1. My first expression of the sounds was a little disappointing, but after some editing of the styles volume and effect it sounds great. In compare to the VA-7 the G-70 a have more realistic and clear sound. I imported some of the internal styles from my VA-7 to here if there is some difference in the quality and truly it sounds better when I compare it whit the VA-7.
2. The new styles are very useful. It’s easy to find a style who is matching the song I want to play, and its easy to edit the style with the Makeup Tools.
3. The sounds is fantastic, its same quality as the Fantom X.
4. The organ sounds very good and after a little editing with some more overdrive etc. it almost sound like a real hamond organ. Yes Roland have put there VK-8 in the G-70.
5. The Vocal Harmonist is very cool. I own a TC-Helicon Quintet but not very long, I have no need for it anymore.

I have tried all the pro arranger on the market and truly the G-70 is the most realistic sounding and easy to use keyboard. Well-done Roland.

Variation 1,2 and 3 have a Fill forward.
Variation 2,3 and 4 have a Fill backward.

I am very happy for mine to (G70) I think it's sound very natural, and there's somehow more punch in the sound compare to Tyros, which I have to. It is to difference keyboard. I still think Tyros is best for Dinner music, but in my studie the G70 is best.
And Niels where you from in Denmark, I live in Skive

It's good to see some positive remarks about the G-70. I was begining to think that Roland bombed on this one (considering they haven't released a top end arranger for a several years).

I'm glad to see that Roland hasn't flopped with it's new arranger. I remember my first keys were by Roland, jupiter 8 - juno 106. I used to be a big roland fan. They always made great boards. Good luck nielshs, enjoy.
