Swamiji,
This was posted by "Scott Yee".

You can all easily check your PSR2000's OS version by pressing/holding C#2, F2, G#2 simultaneously (C#maj triad chord) while turning on the keyboard. Use Tempo + / - and Star/Stop (Accompaniment) buttons to perform the various tests (main boot, main program, etc). The important one to check is: Main Program.

The latest ver. 1.2 it will have the new chips!
This should help you,
Nobby

This does NOT seem to work on my new 2000. The serial number seems to suggest that the newer one is about 9000 units AFTER my original one - I wonder if there is a new test sequence to use?

Uncle Dave,

Are you saying that you don't know the version of your new PSR 2000 and also the C2#, F2, G2# ON procedure doesn't work in the new one ?

Linda Fus has a new PSR 2000 version 1.20. Linda, if you read this post, please test if the version procedure works on yours.

Thanks
Carlos Rodrigues

Works on mine UD! But I got mine fairly
early!
Nobby
PS: Uncle Dave they could have changed it, I wouldn't bet on anything at this point.
I put out a flag on another thread trying to get a hold of LindaFus she has one of the later ones! Maybe she can enlighten us about it. Shurly they wouldn't change that!
Would they???

Uncle Dave,
Did this test work in your first 2000 board?
I can't understand it works easy as pie in mine!
