I am mostly interested in any feedback about this SONG, since I am a songwriter. Not so much the recording. You can say anything you want but when I recorded this, the gain was likely too high. I think I hear distortion. If it sounds like crap to you, you can let me know. (But I got the gain thing better figured out now.) This is a work demo, not a finished recording. Even a lyric bauble in here.

But again, I am curious if you like this song. Do you like it, are you offended, love it, hate it, whatever. Thanks.

Recorded on psr2000.

Oh my gawd, what an idiot. I just now found keys to a place I had a gig at this past weekend. Took me three days to find them and the landlord has been mad at me. Lost my mom's glasses a month ago. Got them repaired, stuck them in my shoe that was in the car floorboard. Next morning, no glasses. Still haven't found them.

It's fixed now. Thanks Mr. Ed.

Nice job Bill.

At about 2:36 into the song, try playing that piano part up an octave and see how that sounds.
Get a track of strings in there at about 2:55 and you'll end up on Chicago TV channel 38 performing it.

I enjoyed it.

Wow...

I hope there is not to terribly much of you in that song. I liked it alot. Sad state of affairs to be in that position of "Never doubting (baby) Jesus"...but not feeling the same way about his old man. I certainly appreciate the creativity of it though. Nice job on the lyrics I believe that is what you asked for feedback on. Keep it goin'

This song is from an album I have written. The good news and the bad news is that I have too many songs for this album. I am trying to figure out which songs are the best.

I purposely wrote this lyric to be as universal as I could do it. Meaning that I never say what the guy is upset about. Except that he's obviously quite upset about something. I know why I wrote it but I will never divulge that. It's whatever it means to the listener.

So, my hope is that it is unique enough... personally, I've never heard anything like this before. Unique is good in the songwriting world, that's for sure. The question is whether it goes over the edge. (The edge of acceptance to the majority of cd buyers in the genre.)

For pop or rock, no problem. The question is country genre.

I don't want to say much more yet. Maybe someone else will give their opinion.
