On our recent Florida trip it was a pleasure to visit with Eddie (betweengigs) and Carol. I had especially been looking forward to seeing and hearing Eddie's new setup with the PAS. I had heard the Bose a few times but never with an AK vocalist.
All I can say is that Eddie brings out the best in the PAS and vice-versa. What can be said about the PAS that hasn't been said... it's all true. In a medium/large room with 250 people kibitzing, the music was never overbearing, muffled, or in the background. You could hear it clearly, but people had no problem conversing, both 15' from the bandstand and in the back of the room, 90' away.
Rumor has it Eddie spends a lot ot time "tweaking"... not exactly sure what he's doing, but it sure works... he's definitely brought it up a few notches since our last visit 3 yrs ago... bringing the house down! Wayda go, Eddie.
