Hi there, welcome to Synthzone since it's your first posting.

Not much news regarding anything new on Korg arrangers at the moment, although there have been rumours that they will be bringing out some new stuff pretty soon.

There's also the Korg zone on here to check out

Once something is announced someone posts links straight away so keep checking

there is no new news about any new arrangers from Korg. They probably would not say anything until the next namm show which won't be until January of 2007.
Korg has started shipping their new micro x keyboard which is a 25 key Triton keyboard which can be used as a USB controller with its 128 preset software setups and the fact that it is the first Korg which can be used as a VST plug in with software based sequencers. The price is $649 map which makes it less then 1/2 what a Korg Triton Rack sells for and the Triton Rack cannot be used as a plug in.

There are rumors (actually something more than rumors) about a new Korg arranger near to come.
The name will be PA800 and it will be an evolution of PA80, but not better than PA1X.
The price in Europe should be under €2000.

I wonder if they gave up on arranger modules or what? I'd be interested in a PA1X module. As long as it was small, light, easy to navigate and as far as I'm concerned the arranger only, styles and voices. Oh, ok, maybe midi playback but that's all I'd need.

there will be a press release in the next two or three weeks regarding the successor to the PA1X and also a new operating system for the existing PA1X. A korg product manager from italy just about said as much on the korg forum last night .

Korg is probably busy taking a break after realising their OASYS beast.
But they released some Synths and Mini Workstaions like KORG TR, and some other ones, I forgot the names, but remember how they look like.

Well thank you very much
Hope these are some great news, the PA1X pro is a very good keyboard, i love it,
A new OS would be a good idea, a replacent for the PA80 another one.
So wait and see
Bye
