Well, i can't watch him, only listen. Sounds like kind of an odd duck. What's with all the "whoop whoop" at the end of his tunes? lol.
He isn't a horrible player....not very inspiring with his solos; and that whole cluster chord thing in the right hand gets boring fast, but at least he knows the tunes and their chords.
I really dont get the luke warm comments .The guy plays really very well and certainly knows his jazz and improvising skills. This is great music. If you dont like jazz then fair enough but his standard of skill is way above what i have heard generally. If he gets a little bit excited after he has successfully recorded a piece and wants to psych himself up, whats wrong with that ?

Well it's easy to see he's a professional even if you don't like his performance. He's a throwback to the days when you had to entertain your audience with nothing but solo piano. This required you to, 1. master your instrument, and 2. adopt a big two-fisted playing style that not only covered the musical bases but was entertaining as well. Personally, I like this one.
