The XD9 like the Vega has one touch settings but I haven't found them very useful. You can assign the basic sounds to it and that is aobut it. You cannot assign programs or user voices. In a style, you can assign a group of sounds on the one touch settings so you can pick from the list of 10 sounds when you are in the style, but again since I mostly use program or user voices, this feature has not done me any good. There is a registration feature, but it is not menu driven where you can pick your choice. It is through a cumbersome numerical call up process.
