Does the XD9 have one touch settings? There are usually 4 OTS/style on arrangers. The specification doesn't say anything about that.
Does the XD9 have any music data base similair to the Yamaha music finder. I would expect any "new" arranger, in this price range, to have this feature.

The XD9 like the Vega has one touch settings but I haven't found them very useful. You can assign the basic sounds to it and that is aobut it. You cannot assign programs or user voices. In a style, you can assign a group of sounds on the one touch settings so you can pick from the list of 10 sounds when you are in the style, but again since I mostly use program or user voices, this feature has not done me any good. There is a registration feature, but it is not menu driven where you can pick your choice. It is through a cumbersome numerical call up process.

I've found the One-Touch feature to be very useful... and yes, you can assign both User Voices and Programs. You cannot select them at the same time to 'access' voices but you can once you're in the EDIT ONE TOUCH mode. Here's how:

* Press SAVE/ENTER.

* Press One Touch Edit (F4). Once in this menu, you can select whatever voice you want within the respective One Touch locations ... including User Voices or Programs.
