I just picked up a backup PSR-3000 fron Dan0's Keyboard City this afternoon. As usual, Dan gave a great price, demonstrated some other equipment for me, then I headed home to write my weekly magazine column for The Fisherman Magazine.

While I was writing the column, I thought to myself, "Wow! Instead of spending weeks programming the keyboard, I'll be able to program all the registrations, all the user styles, the entire MFD, all the user voices and the mic settings, tweak the EQ and have it ready to go in less than 10 minutes. All of those files are stored on my spare USB thumb drive, and also on my spare smart media card. Everything works great, I now have a complete backup system, and I'm a happy camper.

Gary,
Congratulations on the new 3K. How'd you like to keep another copy of your backup in a nice safe place on my 3K here in Sunny Southwest Florida. I just picked up a couple of 512MB thumb drives at Staples. I have your 9 gig disks on it already and I'm havin' a ball with them.
Ron
