BTW If you wish to use the Garritan VST with an Open Arranger Keyboard, you will need to assign the volume control code to the modulation wheel code, as Garritan use the modulation wheel to control volume and expression

I checked out Garritan a while ago. I liked it very much It sounds quite like a real orchestra. A very useful tool for composers. I think

As for the comparison - both are too close I'd say if there weren't the narrator the untrained ear would never distinguish Garritan from the real orchestra.

May be it will make the real orchestras obsolete?

The real orchestra seems to have more presence. If it wasn't for the voice telling which was which, I doubt I'd be able to pick it.

GPO certainly sounds great.
