Hi All
I have just joined the forum site and wondered if anyone could help me?
I purchased a Yamaha Keyboard EZ-30 a while ago intending to teach myself to play. What with one thing and another it ended up in loft and without learning how to play. I have now had a new lease of life and intend to learn so the keyboard is now downstairs and i'm having a go and enjoying it. This keyboard is probably an old model now but
the question is -
Does anyone have this model or used to have one or perhaps knows the answer to:-
Using the Auto accompaniment multi Fingering.
It is set to single finger chords and I want to change the setting to Fingered chords whilst using the auto accompaniment so I can learn to play the chords properly with the 3 fingers rather than just using 1. I have been through the manual, it says you can change but it does not tell you how to change. I must be thick I reckon. Could anyone help?
Hope this make sense to someone.

Mark

Mark,
Welcome to the "family"! I'm not familiar with that particular model, but on most recent Yamahas there is a menu such as Utility that allows access to the page where you change fingering mode.
There isn't that much traffic here on the weekend, but I'm sure if you are patient someone will answer you.

Your keyboard is multifinger by default which means it understands single finger or fingered chords. You do not need to change the settings. See page 55 of the manual.
