There is a web page that I think might be of interest to all Synthzoners, especially those with a fast connection, and probably more useful to the guys that perform in parties, weddings etc.
www.pandora.com The paga runs an applet (takes alittle while to load) in which you specify a song or a group or artist you like. It lets you choose the correct entry if there are many of the same name, then proceeds in creating a playlist of songs that match the "character" of the song you entered, or groups that play similar kind of music.
After that it becomes an internet radio, playing back (streaming) song after song in this playlist, in good enough quality. You can skip a song by pressing a button on the interface.
This is a fine thing to have when you want to hear a particular genre, but it dawned to me that it may be of great help to performing musicians, helping you build a playlist of songs easily. It may suggest songs or groups you have never heard and might be worthwhile to have in your repertoire.
Give it a try, I liked it very much.
