My wife and I produce tunes in the genre of baleric house (feel good house if you will, no vocals as of yet but consisting of thumping bass and emotional guitar etc)
we are pondering over scoreing some kind of groove syth, thinking along the lines of a Korg elecribe series but waying up the pros and cons of the Roland series (303 505 etc), any wisdom out there would be appreciated.

You should give the 505 a lot of thought. The Electribe is good but I would buy the 505.

My opnion is the same of James.

I purchase the JX305, it haves the keyboard to play, a lot of 768 patterns and the 16 tone banks 11 to 88 sounds, and a sequencer. More than MC505.

I preffered.
