Hello.......I have been happily enjoying playing one keyboard as a controller connected to my i40M. I usually play styles using single finger mode, and occasionally change the voices (program) on the i40M. Sometimes I have a sequencer connected to the MIDI out of the i40M and record the auto accompaniments along with my right hand's melody. I have a couple different keyboards that have great fat solo sounds and would like to use one of these as a complete keyboard to play the right hand melody across the entire keyboard range while playing the auto-accompaniments with my left hand on another MIDI controller keyboard. I want the accompaniments to still come out of the i40M, but want the right hand melody to come out of the other keyboard. I have both the i40M and right hand keyboard hooked up to an amplifier and it sounds great live................but I can't seem to get the MIDI hookup correct. I get the left hand single finger keys sending that note along with the accompaniment to the 2nd keyboard ........and with both the left hand controller keyboard and the 2nd melody keyboard connected to the sequencer I'm recording a MESS !!!
I'm confusing myself with setting up the correct cable connections and/or MIDI channels. Please assist my frustrated brain.........................Thanks -- CHARLEY

P.S. Is it also possible using the i40M connected to a single keyboard to have only the left split point stuff go to the i40M and have only that stuff go to the amp while the right split point has the melody come out of the controller keyboard's voices to the amp and not use the i40m's voices??? thanks again..............
