Can punch in and out function be applied
while recording song accompaniments in realtime recording.PSR 9000 cannot.
Have u followe my point? If not,Again
i clarify it for u.While recording a song
acc say 20 measures if i make a mistake
on measure 15.Can i re-record from measure
14 ,giving it a one or two lead in measure
using punch function.Please give me bit
more detail on its sequenser. THANKS a

I red you post to Scott, since he is probably busy at a gig today, let me answer your question.
Yes you may "punch in and out" while recording. Just press the digital Recording tab and then select Song Creator, on the bottom of the screen you'l see the options for Rec Start, select "punch in" and enter the mesure to begin the punch in, then Rec End and enter the measure you wish the recording to end. That's it.
Select a couple of measures prior to start the recording and the function will turn the recorder on and off as you play.

recording song i want to record acc(Style)
along with the voice,so if i make an error
on some measure can i correct its acc and
voice separatly or simutanously directy
going to that measure giving it a measure
or tow as lead in measure using punch

Hi Shakeel. First of all, my apologies for my delayed response. As Mario guessed, I was out of town yesterday gigging and only now finally have the chance to respond. Mario is absolutely correct . The PSR2000 allows you to re-record accompaniment tracks in 'punch' mode. I'm rather surprised to hear you say that the PSR9000 doesn't support this, cause I thought it did.

The PSR2000 records each accompaniment part (bass, rhythm, chord, etc) to different sequencer tracks (channels). When you want to re-record or replace an accompaniment style (via punch record), you must remember to arm (set into record mode) 'all' tracks (channels) associated with the new replacement accompaniment style, as well as delete the tracks (channels) contained in the orignal style, but not used in the replacement one. A big one bundle of thanks for you.
The sequenser of 9000 is the poorest on
earth I always say.It realy does not support this impotant function.I several times complaind Yamaha.They simply say
"use the step chord" ooooohhh.And afterward
they said "we are including this function
in our next model"Isnt it strange!!

Just a remark: I've used the 2000's sequencer extensively, and I've found it to be quite robust and versatile.
