Has anyone had experience in recording directly from a PSR to a 4 track? I have a Tascam 424 MKIII and for some reason, when I connect my PSR 2K directly to it, something gets lost in the translation soundwise. I have to jack up the volume on the 2K to 3/4 full just to get a normal level. Any ideas? Thanks.

Try recording from the RCA outputs, rather than the line outs. The RCA outs are always "wide open", and are unaffected by the keyboard's volume control knob. I've had good success recording to Mini disk in this manner. DonM
