Perhaps someone can help me out, I am controlling my ER-1 off of a Kurzweil K2000, (and soon to be some computer based sequencer). Essentially I want to do the drums via the midi, and not the internal sequencer. Is there any way I can turn off the ER-1's sequencer, (when I fire the RECORD/PLAY on the K2000 it automatically starts playing the ER-1's pattern), the best way around this that I have found is to basically clear all the events out of the pattern on the ER-1, but this is not ideal, and it still tries to play through the pattern. Maybe I am missing something simple?.
I hope this is clear and I didnt babble to much .

maybe i use the ER-1 in the way you would do...maybe
i tell u: i use a Yamaha RM1-X as master, and assign the first channel of the RM1-X to the first of the ER-1, etc....
so i can make the sounds as i want on the ER-1, but controlled by the RM1-X...
anyway, i prefer to play with machines only syncked by midiclock!!!! also because i've got other stuff like the Korg MS2000R, the EA-1, the RM1-X...

Hey, I have the opposite problem!!

I control my EA-1 from Logic Fun on my Mac,
but I can't seem to be able to trigger the
patterns on the tribe, only the sounds.

Any suggestions?
