Anyone know how to approach that classic mellotron sound using the N5. I jut bought one last weekend, and would really like to know how to edit one of the patches, and write the Mellotron sound.

This doesn't address your need directly, but you might want to be aware that IF you have a sampler, accessing mellotron.com can lead you to a sampling CD containing the entire Mellotron & Chamberlin libraries. Its $200, but its the only sane alternative to trying to buy/maintain the real thing unless you're MADE of money! I have a pal who owns a 'tron and it'll make you go bald prematurely! I love that sound too, but reality ain't always pretty....just FYI. Besides, unless there's an actual 'tron sample in the wavetable a la the E-mu Vintage Keys module, you'll be REALLY hard-pressed to get that same aroma going; its just too electro-mechanical to begin with and basically defies accurate synthesis.
