I am interested in purchasing a groove type machine. Does anyone have any recommendations/preferences between the Electribe series and the Roland MC-505

i think you should go for the Mc505
instead of the Electribe A or R :
1)the MC505 has more sounds
2)the Mc505 is more TR and TB samples
3)the Mc505 can save unto external drives
4)roland makes better dance gear than KORG

i have a set mixed on KORG and roland
and i feel dance gear is better made
by roland as always !
