I have an X3 but using the hardware sequencer is really very tough. Though i
have a Laptop i couldn't do a MIDI sequencing as am unfamiliar with the
electrical connections.

My question is How do i connect a keyboard with a laptop ? is it thru serial port or
parallel port ?. Somebody scared me by saying that my laptop circuits will blow
away if make a wrong connection. I would be very thankful if someone could
guide me through the right path.
