Hi,

Today I've played at school with my VA-7. At a sudden moment a man came standing near me and he asked some things, so I showed the keyboard.

But then he said that he had a Roland EM2002.. I got crazy! Just bought this board half a year ago and he tells me about this board. But.. from the first moment I already thought that he could not even have a EM2002 because:

-No one talks about that keyboard.
-I recognise the EM2000 as an older keyboard, and he definetely said that he had a 2002.

He told me that the whole board was computerized. I just don't get it.

Are these jokes or does an EM2002 really exists?

That sounds like someone pulling your leg.. The EM2000 was an awsome arranger that has already been replaced. If Roland came out with an EM2002 it would have already been a topic on this site. There are a lot of members here who know people in high places and if this board was out they would have informed us. Maybe the guy admired your VA-7 and wanted to relate with you in regards to arranger keyboards, and stated he had an EM2002 (most likely referring to an EM2000, neither of which he most likely doesn't own) If had the Roland he's talking about, it would be the EM2000, which is why I think he doesn't have either.. With the price of the EM2000, owners generally don't forget the name... At that price range you tend to remember this...
