Wow..... it sounds likethe old M1 piano. I think it was called 8' or something like that. There are better piano sounds out today ..... why is that one so important to you?

Well honestly, I'm kinda of into old piano sounds, such as the one I'm referring to. I'd like to see about getting one sometime maybe on Ebay or something. BTW, did they manufacture any sound modules with that particular piano sound?

Yes, the Symphony module and the P3 (both Korg) have that sound archetecture. Both are long since discontinued, but should be dirt cheap if you find them used.

It is definitely an M1 Piano.
That same piano is also featured on the Wavestation EX and Waaavestation A/D as well as M1R and M3R sound modules.
You can also find that same piano on some of the Card Sets for the
01/W series ("Best of M&T" I believe). That sound is also available on a lot of sample CD ROMs.
Even though it is a very old sample, it's kind of a classic and a lot of people still like it (my self included).

I'm watching an auction on the P3, M1R, and M3R on Ebay. Not sure if I'll be able to bid this time around but if not I'm sure there'll be a next time. Also if anyone knows of any other sources other than Ebay where I could purchase any of these modules (including the Symphony as well) please let me know.
