I own PSR9000 and VA7. And I use both as two-manual superarranger. You can do the same thing with KN7000 and VA7.

Simply stack it on 2-shelves stand one on top of another and connect VA-7 output with effect loop input of another kbd. You can add midi connection from VA-7 to another kbd -- solely to match pads (and this requiring tweaking midi profiles).

Then you have 2-manual superkbd with great style morphing and varyphrase from VA-7 and solo voices and pads from other kbd -- ready for live performance. And no computers and SD cards

Hi,
midiing them together is another great option. Unfortunately I don't have the space in the living room to midi everthing up. My other keyboards live in a bedroom.

Where the sd card & audio comes in handy is for portability. You only need the kn7 and an sd card filled with audio backing tracks from the other keybords.

1) Midiing together is not mandatory. Simply mixing sounds (output-loop effect input) is alright to have audio backing performance. If you use SD card with _fixed_ audio backing tracks -- this mean _not_ live performance.

2) Two-manual mean only 20cm _up_ in space. No wider neither deeper. And it no less portable then two one-shelf stand instead one double-shelves. It's like in organs: then you can have live performance with two keyboards simultaniously.

Hi ailev,
I was lucky that my husband even let me have one keyboard in the living room, he'd have a fit if I brought a second one out. He doesn't mind paying for them, just doesn't want to see them (haa haa)

best wishes
