Does anyone now if the triton has a "hold" button for continually playing of arpeggios
after the releasing of a key?
And the vocoder,how does it work?
What can it do compared to the best vocoders
on the market today,f.ex. the Roland Vocoder?
How many notes of polyphony does the triton have?
Does the synthesis of the optional MOSS
board contain prophecy sounds and waveshape
section?
If you now the answer to any of these things, please post it.

I'm no expert, but I'll try to answer some of your questions. I actually have a TRITON at home right now. I'm trying it out before buying it.

So...
Yes, TRITON has hold for arpeggios.
Actually the whole arp. part of TRITON is amazing in my opinion.
The Vocoder is like any other effect (insert & master), with the difference that is takes two "effect-spaces". I've tried it very little, but one of the combo-sounds uses it and that sounds really great!
I have no idea how it is compared to other vocoders. The ones I've tried have been low-quality software-based.
TRITON has 64 notes of polyphony.
The MOSS board for TRITON is the same as for TRINITY.

I have to take issue with some of the above;

the Triton's polyphony is 62 notes, NOT 64. this is upgraded to 68 notes with the MOSS board fitted. Regarding the MOSS board, it is NOT the same as the one in the Trinity. The original solo synth board in the Trinity was 1 note polyphonic, the V3 board was 6 note polyphonic but still 1 part multitimbral. The MOSS board that can be fitted to a Triton is now 6-part multitimbral. The options available for the Triton are not backwards-compatible with the Trinity.

actually the Trinity's Z1 board is compatible with Triton's arch. I took my Trinity's out and installed it on the Triton, and it worked.

Is it possible to install the original prophecy solo synth board, made for the trinity, in the triton ?
And, will this board give you the same posibillities as the actual prophecy synth
(the Triton having real-time knobs and all)?
