I realize most of us own various electronic keyboards and synths, but I was wondering what type of piano do you have at home?
Acoustic...Grand, spinet, etc...or Digital?
What type of digital?
Just curious to see what you all are using.
Personally I have a Roland KR7 digital with oak finish.

I don't have one. But I may go to California and play Scott Yee's. I understand he has one.

I have a 6' grand along with my PSR740 and PSR220. Don't play it much these days as the 740 takes up all the musical time.

I have a baby grand and I compare it all the time with the piano sounds of keyboards. I also play the church piano as well. I own other acoustic instruments as well.

Currently my only piano is in my psr2k. And it will stay that way.

But I have one quitar. A red VERY OLD acoustic Landola.

I have a Kurzweil Mark 5 Ensemble Grand digital piano (looks like a spinet). I fell in love with it the second I played my first chord on it. Unfortunately, I don't play it often enough and may sell it before the holidays - can't decide between keeping it or saving for a Roland VR-760.

I have a digital P80 stage piano and thinking of getting a CLP 170 clavinova.I love playing the piano.

Before I have fun playing on my PSR2100 I have to have atleast 1 hour practice on the piano and then a hour on the PSR2100.

Regards,
Daz

My wife asked me to buy a piano for 25 years. 20 years ago I bought a keyboard. The only thing most folks use a piano for now is something to cover with houseplants and family photos of the kids. She never did learn to play the keyboard.

Cheers,

Gary

Hi Tim,
had a beautiful Yamaha Baby grand for about 20 years, then one of the first model Disklaviers when they became available back in 1989. Unfortunately both had to go when we sold our family home. Our new house wasn't large enough, so I ended up with a Technic's Pr602.

best wishes
Rikki
