is there a way to bring a user style into the music finder, if the answer is yes, how's it done

It can be done, however if it is a Yamaha style from another model, it will bring up multiple song titles associated with it that were in the original music finder, which is a real mess.

I strongly recommend saving it to the external memory by category or you will soon run out of internal memory space.

Some do like using the music finder. If going from one song to the next as rapidly as you can in a live situation isn't a priority, then the music finder may be ok for you, if you don't want to use a lot of user styles.
