Maybe great as a vocal monitor, or line out to your 450 and have the controls near by..

By itself..I don't know where the bass response will come from...it would be just as sick as your 3k speakers...bass wise..

Kinda costly for a monitor. Here's on that's about half the $$ and sounds very good.

That Roland is only 30 watts, compared to 150 watts for the Mackie - half the price, but 1/5 the power........

I have the Roland... used it as a monitor before I had the Bose L1, more than enough sound at half volume, clear, clean sound.
