PRM is a free software for KORG PA60 and PA80 resources management.

I updated it to version 2.13.

Please go to Irish Acts for details http://www.irishacts.com/forum/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=pa80;action=display;num=1034684260

Thank you
Riccardo

Terry, you're welcome... hoping to let you feel a little nostalgic... you know, there are so much bad news about that new board... You better keep on sticking a little more...

Ric,
Don't miss the PA at all and am looking forward to the Tyros regardless of the nay sayers here or anywhere. If it's as least as good as the 9000 I will be happy with it.

Terry,
I was just kidding...
I'm sure you'll be happy with the Tyros and, if you won't, you can sell it as you've done with the PA.

On my side, I'm still ejoying my old Yamaha CS01 (remember that little, monophonic synth, with the loudspeaker and those little keys?), even if I think everyday more about an MS2000 (Andromeda is too heavy for my poor money bag!)

Ciao
Riccardo

Riccardo,
Well the Andromeda is tha man's synth and the MS2000......well uh....let's just say my wife thinks it's sooooo cute. However for a guy who is about to spend $25,000.00 on a new harp for Marta, I can understand the budget is strained.

11,478 Euro is the right amount, so around 11,500 $.

Her harp is already here, and money are already gone (as Eagles said)!

So, if you dismiss that old coat, can I have it, please?

Riccardo,
LOL....the coat's on it's way and some old underware too. But not my lucky music making pair though.

How does Marta like it and was she surprised or did she know she was getting it?

When are you going to post a piece of her playing?

Terry,
while she knows about her new harp, she doesn't expect it to be so big. She is about 150 cm tall while the harp is 188, so her first feeling has been a mix of fear and awe.

Then, after almost two hours of dad's work to get it perfectly in tune, she played it and discover that it is pretty easier to play than the previous smaller harp, because voice is louder and cleaner, pedal are soft but punctual and, much important, the instrument is well balanced, so the weight on her shoulder is small (I ignored it until I discovred the harp world, but to play an harp you have to pull it against your shoulder, having it standing on the floor only with two of its four legs, and balancing it with your legs and body movements).

Now her only problem is about string number. This harp is 47 string, while the previous was 40, and the celtic harp is 32, so she experiments some problem when she has to play lower strings, because her arm is not long enough, and she has to do some strange movement to reach them.

I video recorded her past "performances", but I have nothing with this new harp.
When I'll be ready I'll let you know the url.
Maybe I can add a couple of pictures...

Ciao
Riccardo

Riccardo,
That would be great and I would love to at least hear Marta's playing. The harp is one of those instruments to me that makes quite unbelievably beautiful music.
