I just bought the 01W/Pro used. I loved it for one week, then one day turned it on and found that the sounds were messed up-- particularly piano! Its possible I may have accidently reset the sounds via my Computer's Midi connection. How do I get back the original sounds and effects for each patch? Also, is there any way I can get a manual? Thanks a lot!

If the sounds are messed up you need a sysex program that allows you to download them from the net to your PC. Many sequencing programs already have them... Cakewalk, etc. If you have the software just go to Synth Zone homepage and go to Korg. There are alot of sites where you can download the orginal sounds. You might find a Sysex program too.

I got it through someone I know for $1,000, which I think is a very low price-- it was one of those desparation sales. I think you would have to pay at least a couple of hundred more for it. Did you ever check out the Alesis QS8? Its not much more expensive brand new, and the feel & sound of the piano keys is just as excellent.
