I've been looking for quality NS5R sounds. The ones I've been finding on the net are converted Xseries sounds and for some reason the NS5R doesn't seem to recognize effect changes. You change sounds and the effect does not change. This is only when I am playing in the user RAM area of the synthesizer. It seems that the sounds on the NS5R are not the same quality as the O X and I series. Is the sound engine not comparible? If it is then are the samples not equal? I am wondering. A lot of the sounds are high quality. But many of the M1, T1 and O1 emulations are not as good. I would appreciate any correspondence. Thanks

I need to know if an i5m can :

create a midifile on a i5m ( which I assume is identical to an i3 )
and have the file use another module , that I wil have hooked up
i5's out to my module's (or deyboard ) in.

I have an RA-800 and I cannot duse another synth's sounds while
playing a midifile back!

Also what limitations does it have in general.

Please Help.
