I believe I have the proper MIDI utilities and files to load the original programs/combinations/sequences on an M1 that suffered dead-battery lobotomy. My question is what setting(s) to place the workstation in to receive the .syx files. So far no luck. Any help walking me thru the process would be appreciated; have a gig 7/10; need original settings

To receive a bulk dump, it can be in any mode, but the global is best. Make sure that the SYSEX filter is 'ENA' in the Global MIDI Filter menu and the Global channel is set to 1. If you are unable to get it to respond, try changing the Global MIDI channel to 2 through 16.
