It took Sweetwater a long time, but about five days ago, I received a replacement for the first PSR-S900 that I ordered that was defective.

The defective keyboard I had scratched, and it was only because Steve Demming at Yamaha had agreed to take it back that Sweetwater allowed me to return it.

I would like to thank Steve at Yamaha. The bad taste that I had from having received two defective keyboards in a row has dissipated. I am a happy camper now.

I am having a blast with the PSR-S900.

Beaky,

Glad to hear you're on the right track now. I got mine about the same time you did, so maybe these newer ones are OK.

Hi Larry: Terrific news... now this sounds MORE like it.

Three CHEERS to Steve Deming (Yamaha USA). Btw: Steve's not only an around nice guy but a terrific keyboard player too. I still have some cool vid footage I shot of him playing Tyros2 at the Winter NAMM Yamaha booth a couple of years ago.

Congratulations on your new keyboard, Beaky.

All these quality control issues must be driving the Yamaha brass completely nuts...as well as their customers.

In spite of it all, I still love my S900.
