For quite some time i have been able to dump sysx from the m1 to cake and back in effect using the cakewalk as an midi editor/librarian for the m1. In recent days the m1 does not receive the data from the cakewalk. I have tried checking all the midi outputs and they work fine for regular playing and also i can dump from the m1 to cake but NOT from Cakewalk to m1. I am baffled.
any ideas would be appreciated!

Did you check the midi ports in Cakewalk? Maybe your midi interface?

thanks for your reply. the problem was solved by moving the midi output ports to the top of the list in cakewalk.

glad it worked...I don't know why but every once in a while the ports seem to screw up and Cakewalk doesn't give you any notice when you open up the program. Sometimes it is because my midi interface is not turned on...duh.
